Planning

The site lies within the North Lincolnshire Council area. There are five relevant planning consents relating to the Lincolnshire Lakes project and the subject site. We have outlined the planning consents and their status below:

  • Permission 1 (Ref: PA/2013/1001; outline planning permission for up to 450 residential units and a Village Centre; LAPSED.
  • Permission 2 (Ref: PA/2013/1002); full planning permission for highways works involving a new terminating junction to the M181, de-trunked section of the M181 motorway and section of new east-west link road; IMPLEMENTED BY NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL TO DELIVER THE ROUNDABOUT JUNCTION.
  • Permission 3 (Ref: PA/2013/1003); outline planning permission for a new Commercial Park to the west of the M181; VALID UNTIL 8 JULY 2024.
  • Permission 4 (Ref: PA/2013/1000); outline ‘enveloping’ application for up to 2,550 residential units, a 3 form of entry Primary School, Village Centre and extensive open space; LAPSED.
  • • Permission 5 (Ref: PA/2016/1736) - Full planning permission for engineering and excavation works to form a Lake 1, as part of the wider Lincolnshire Lakes project. LAPSED.
